About the Artist - Andre-Pierre Arnal

André-Pierre Arnal (born in 1938) is a French artist associated with the Art Informel and Nouveau Réalisme movements. He emerged as a prominent figure in the post-war European art scene. He was part of the influential "Supports/Surfaces" group in the 1960s, known for deconstructing the traditional canvas and exploring the fundamental elements of art.
