Condition: Good condition with some very faint age spots from natural age. Two miniscule tears top edge which can be covered when framing. 

 

About the Artist - Eduardo Berroeta

Eduardo Roberto Carlos Berroeta Reyes (aka Eduardo Berroeta), a painter and draftsman, was born on May 22, 1946, in Santiago, Chile, and passed away on February 2, 1990, in Paris, France, where he had lived since 1972. Inheriting artistic interests from his father, Eduardo Berroeta Berroeta, a draftsman and illustrator, Berroeta studied at the Experimental School of Art Education and the School of Fine Arts at the University of Chile, earning a degree in Pedagogy in Plastic Arts. He was mentored by notable figures such as Dinora Doudchitzky, Fernando Marcos, Israel Roa, and Ramón Vergara Grez. Berroeta received a French government scholarship in 1972 to study stained glass at L'École d'Arts Decoratifs in Paris, where he also explored tapestry and mural painting. Later, he became the director of the Anysetiers Art Gallery on the Isle of Saint Louis in Paris.
