Pair of 1980 Todd Stone Original Watercolor Artworks. Painted on thick matte paper, these artworks are part of a Diptych design and were designed to be displayed side by side. Titled 'Shift VI', signed and numbered by the artist as part of limited series - a Hors d'Commerce Proof. Gorgeous textures and geometric lines softened by the natural lines of watercolor ink. 

 

Note - Price includes two watercolor artworks. The complimentary designs are similar in execution, with one have lighter watercolor tones in the center from the second piece for contrast.

About the Artist - Todd Stone

Todd Stone (b.1951) is an American master of watercolor & a prolific oil painter; his most renowned work over the last two decades examines both the destruction of the World Trade Center on September 11th, 2001, and the ongoing resilience, recovery, and rebound of Lower Manhattan. However the artists work spans decades. With much of the artists early works being inspired by the op art movement and the geometric lines and architecture of New York City.
